Ken MacGregor

The Society of Television Lighting and Design report that BBC TV Lighting Director Ken MacGregor has died.

"It is with great sadness that we report the death of Ken MacGregor.
His long career in television lighting, spanning over thirty years from Benny Hill and Doctor Who to the Black & White Minstrel Show and Van Doonican consisted of mainly light entertainment shows interspersed with BBC adaptations of classic literature (Moll Flanders and Jane Eyre) along with popular drama such as The Onedin Line.

Ken's use of colour in such shows as Rock Masters (Neil Young, Cat Stevens) in the 1970s are still a source of inspiration."
