According to The Times, Cecil Korer has died aged 86.

I first met him when he was the PA (as the Production Manager was known in those days) on Top Of The Pops in Manchester. There was a danger of him being in shot as he mingled with the audience, so he wore a wig to conceal his bald head, which would have been somewhat of a giveaway.

Of course, he went on to produce It's a Knockout, among other things.
