Staff Pension contributions will increase on April 1 from 6.75 percent to 7.50 percent of pensionable salary.

Since 2003, the BBC has seen its contribution rise from 4.5 percent to its current level of more than 18 percent of pensionable salaries, to reflect increased life expectancy and lower investment returns.
