Searching for Allan George FRANCIS

I am compiling a family history.
One of my uncles worked for the BBC immediately post WW2.
He may have worked there before the war(WW2)
Believe he worked at Reading involved with translations(?)
During the war he served in Naval Intelligence.
His name was Allan George FRANCIS. Born Australia 1906.
He lived at 123 Elgin Crescent London W11.
He moved to England in about Mid 1930s.
He returned to Australia in about 1970(?).
He passed away in 1986.
Can anyone advise of his employment history with the BBC, the roles he played areas he worked etc.or where I might find that info.
This info would be helpful and fill the gaps in the life of our "mystery uncle".
Hope you can help
