Carol service - memories wanted

I'm making a programme charting the course of radio broadcasts of the King's Cambridge Christmas Eve Carol Service - it's 75 years this year since they started. I don't know if any of your circle might have memories of being involved? For example does anyone have recollections of being on duty when the service was going out?
