Sadly I have to pass on the news that Colin Adams passed away on Tuesday 10th. May. He died of pneumonia. Colin was Deputy Editor of Newsbeat on Radio 1 when it first launched and then Deputy Editor of Today on Radio 4. He edited File on Four and went on to be Head of Network Production Centre, Manchester.

After a brief spell with Anglia TV he returned to the BBC as Head of TV Drama.

His funeral is on May 26th. More details when I get them.
