When is the 2022 pension increase going to be announced? Seems late this year.

Hello John,

It is normally formally announced in early April.

If you are registered for the BBC My Pension Online, you can view it there or wait for the postal notification.

It is expected to be 7.5% for Old Benefits and 5% for the newer scheme members.

Just to add that if you go online today (1st April) to My Pension Online the new pension amounts are there.
