Sheena Simpson at ITN has asked us to post this appeal:-

ITN Productions are making 3 x 60 documentary series for Channel 5, on a project looking at national treasures turned national disgraces.

The project will be looking across four high profile sexual assault cases in Britain; the cases of Jimmy Saville, Gary Glitter, Stuart Hall and Rolf Harris, four men who used their power and celebrity to manipulate and abuse young women.

These household names were people that the public felt like they knew and trusted and we’ll be looking at the complications around these types of cases coming to light - from public acceptance and scrutiny, the cultural landscape of the 60s and 70s, to the difficulties police and prosecutors faced and the unimaginable scrutiny which survivors experienced.

We’re looking for ex BBC Staff to talk to us who may have worked as crew from a show these men had worked on; Top of the Pops, It’s a Knockout, Jim’ll Fix It, Look North Manchester, Animal Hospital or anything else they may have worked on.
We really want to understand the early careers of these men and the level of fame they had and then the ultimate betrayal.
