For those interested-the BBC Sounds app has been added to the Amazon Firestick platform. I believe Roku and Now "tv sticks" and even other Demand services might shortly gain the app.
I listen to quite a lot of audio of all kinds through my TV speakers--so am much pleased. The current inclusion of most standard BBC Radio is of course a feature to both Freeview and Freesat services-but it was not possible to access the additional facilities of podcasts or specialist audio "mixes" or features" which make have --at long last-helped Sounds raise it's profile.
