Robert Elphick, a BBC foreign correspondent in the 1960s, has died at the age of 89.
Prior to joining the BBC, he worked for Reuters. This obituary has appeared on the website for former Reuters staff.

The funeral will take place at noon at the Mortlake Crematorium on Thursday, September 26.
