Former presenter of World Service programme "Outlook" for over 30 years, John Tidmarsh has died aged 90.

John came to the attention of Controller West Region Frank Gillard whilst commentating on a football match for hospital radio.

A great broadcaster ....he worked for a short time in Southampton fronting South Today and was a pleasure to work with.
