in 1955 "Inside Information", here, demonstrated how a TV OB unit operated.....

Turret change 'on air' was frowned-upon.

The programme was created at the Outside Broadcast base at

WEMBLEY..

this was before the Western Avenue OB Base at Acton.

The early section of the programme used extremely sophisticated graphics... during which the presenter's script said.. "also inside is a very important man- the sound mixer"...
