Title: Laura et al Post by Burstner55 on Nov 15th, 2018, 6:35pm May I be allowed to be the first old git on this Forum to congratulate Laura Kuensberg, Katya and all the other Correspondents working flat out to cover the Brexit debate on their sheer professionalism? At a time when BBC News is at the nadir of performance in the eyes of many of us former employees, the current top team shine like a beacon of excellence. How does Laura do it? 18 hour day, an ever changing political situation and the knowledge she has to get every nuance right. She deserves the highest accolade. That is not a party political judgement, nor a pro/anti view. She walks the wire, foot perfect. |

Title: Re: Laura et al Post by WG on Nov 21st, 2018, 8:41am Both these reporters show considerable reserve and judgement when delivering high profile fast moving news stories. Many others just adopt the media circus approach. The R4 Today programme presenters are particularly guilty in this regard. |
