The BBC Store will close on 1st November.

According to this Radio Times site, the "Corporation admits defeat in the face of streaming service rivals".

Most people do not budget for on line one off purchases of "video" materiel-even iTunes is struggling . Streaming is king now--and even then it is rare for there to be more than one subscription service per household-eg either Netflix or Amazon, rarely both.
