I know this report is in the Daily Mail but surely OFCOM are not aware of the BBC's Radio Station definitions?

Yes-wakey wakey Ofcom, Radio 2 is a light music station-but I suppose it doesn't have a Newsbeat-like Radio One .
However I would describe Radio 2's Jeremy Vine show a "moaners phone- in", certainly not a Current Affairs programme.
