Latest news via Werner Schmitz (who helped with his book about his BBC career) Fred Hamilton - BBC Cameraman has died aged 81 in Cyprus where he has lived with his wife Marianna since 1999.
No further details but no doubt a piece will appear in Prospero.

I worked with Fred Hamilton on several Drama filming projects throughout my years at BBC Television. Fred was a lovely man ... I am saddened by his passing. R.I.P
