Wonder if anyone remembers Steve Alderton?

I was at High School with Steve. He joined the BBC in the 70's and worked in Tech Ops at TVC.

We lost touch, but I heard a rumour that he passed away some years ago. Can anyone confirm this?

I have posted a message on the tech-ops.co.uk mailing list, someone may know there. I have to admit that I don't remember him although I was in tech ops at TVC in the 70s.
