Christopher Jones, for many years a Parliamentary Correspondent working for radio and television news, has died at his home in Wimbledon. He was 85. In the 1980s he wrote and presented two highly-regarded television series, telling the stories of the Palace of Westminster and Number 10 Downing Street.

The funeral of Christopher Jones, the former BBC Parliamentary Correspondent, will take place at 10 a.m. at The Sacred Heart (R.C.) Church, Edge Hill, Wimbledon, on Thursday 24th April 2014. Edge Hill is just off Worple Road. The Post Code is SW19 4LU.
It will be followed by a cremation at Putney Vale Crematorium at 11.40 a.m.
