FED UP WITH THE SAVILE ROW?
Wondering where the BBC is going (under new management|) in the posh Broadcasting House?
Why not come along to the annual newsroom/correspondents/reporters/ current affairs annual Christmas get together and air your views with your old workmates?
It is at the usual Calthorp Arms, 252 Grays Inn Road from noon onwards on Thursday December 6th. Nearest tubes Chancery Lane or Russell Square.
Entrance is FREE (the management have not yet caught on to the trend of charging you for entering their pub and paying their exhorbitant prices for their beer).
Thanks to our sole sponsor, former editor Larry Hodgson, now living in Spain, there will also be a FREE buffet. Any other "sponsors" would be more than welcome.
Unfortunately the bar is still all pay as neither of the organisers, Barry Rocard or Alan (Badger) Ashton, have managed so far to win the lottery.
