I am trying to find any info about my father ,who was a former BBC staff member with the BBC Northern Ireland Light Orchestra he played the Double Base under David Curry.I know he started around 1950 and was still working when I left Bangor in 1955 . According to friends in Bangor he was still with the BBC in Belfast in or about 1965 and they understand that he died in England could be 1985/86.
We lived in Abby Drive, Bangor,Co Down. If any body can help with the date he died, or any other info I would be very grateful.
