The BBC department formerly known as Human Resources, formerly known as Personnel, is to get a new name. It will be called....
BBC People!
(without the exclamation mark, of course)
The director of BBC People, Stephen Dando explains in the latest issue of Ariel: "Firstly, BBC People
better represents everything we do. Secondly, the name reflects what we
are about: helping people to be the best they can, to support the BBC in
becoming the world's most creative organisation."
