Talking around after the big Jubilee Parade it seems most of my friends were astonished at the quality of the OB commentary and contributions. Many were curious as to why a WRVS official was being asked questions not at all relevant to her vocation.....which was apparent from the number of times she speculated "I think........" in response to David Dimbleby's rather curious pattern of dialogue. Yet the Beeb says in newspaper reports that complaints were fewer than praises. As a former Events producer (radio) I would be interested to hear views. ???
