Title: Poor internet support on air

The majority of bbc presenters don't seem to have the faintest idea about the internet.  Putting a false url out on air (www.sports.personality@bbc.co.uk) and sneering when giving out a url - even suggesting that 'you could go to www.bbc.co.uk/something but i wouldn't bother' only serves to make the corporation seem more antiquated than ever.

It is surely about time that presenters are educated in the power of the internet.  It's not a place full of whacky, offbeat information - rather the single greatest information resource in the world.
