The Cyprus Mail is reporting that Chris Drake, one of the BBC’s best-known reporters of the 1970s and 80s, has died. He had several high profile postings as a foreign correspondent and covered many of the big stories of the time, Here is the Cyprus Mail’s affectionate obituary.
