According to "The Guardian" the BBC has had to extend the Met.Office contract due to "delays".

My gripe about BBC weather forecasts is the use of teasers like ' but there are changes on the way ' ...... why not tell ? It's not a TV soap which has to have a cliff hanger at the end of each episode .

Exactly-the forecast should be as meaningful as ANY on line weather APP, which stick to the facts, are about 80% accurate , are local and constantly updated.
