"Radio Today" reports that:-

"The National Assembly for Wales says BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2 should provide a news opt-out for Wales, with the BBC picking up the cost.

In a report published this week, titled “The Committee’s Initial Views on Broadcasting in Wales” the Assembly recommends that the BBC Director General should provide an additional £30 million annually for English language drama and broadcasting about Wales."
