According to "The Daily Telegraph", OFCOM (which replaces the BBC Trust next April) has ordered the BBC to pay £9 Million for their services as "Broadcasting Watchdog".

The "Daily Telegraph" story reports that The BBC Trust presently employ 35 staff at a cost of £3.8 Million.

OFCOM say they plan to employ 77 staff and demand a fee of £9 Million.
