Karen Bradley has been appointed Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport.

She replaced John Whittingdale.

Karen Bradley is Conservative MP for Staffordshire Moorlands.

She was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, and educated at Buxton Girls' School.

Her background is Tax, as she worked for Deloitte & Touche from 1991 until 2004, and then KPMG from 2007 until she joined the House Of Commons in 2010.
