Stewart Purvis has posted his "Guest Blog" on the web-site of "The Press Gazette" here.

In his 'blog', Stewart discusses the financial pressure on world-wide news gathering organisations.

"In truth, the most honest statement by most broadcast news organisations would be: “Let’s be clear, we need to do more for less”."

Purvis quotes James Harding (Director of BBC News) “The challenge is how to make BBC News even better, despite having less money.”
