According to "The Guardian", who claim to have seen 'the email'..... .

"BBC stars and staff could face being rated on a scale from 1 to 5 as part of a controversial staff appraisal plan that assesses their work and understanding of "BBC values"."

Apparently, following complaints from staff, the NUJ and Bectu have been meeting BBC management to object to the proposals and try to get them dropped.
