Tony Hall, BBC Director-General, gave a speech at the Voice of the Listener & Viewer Conference on Wednesday 27 November 2013.

The BBC Press Office issued it here:-

However, in the list of 'things the BBC is doing, and how much is the income', it failed to list the fact that the BBC World Service is now paid out of the licence fee, and it also failed to list the BBC's responsibility to S4C and to local TV which has just started.

Am I missing something?

Perhaps these omissions should be corrected?

An excellent speech. I just love the vision that accessing all the content on BBC iplayer makes it MY BBC.
