An obituary to Tom Vernon the writer and broadcaster who created the Fat Man on a Bicycle series, and who was at BBC Radio London at the outset, followed by many programmes on Radio 4, and "Fat Man On A Bicycle" for TV, may be found in "The Guardian".

He won many prizes including radio personality of the year, radio presenter of the year, and best radio documentary.
