The Guild Of TV Cameramen recently made their "Awards For Excellence" for 2013

Of the 16 awards, 12 went to BBC broadcast programmes (including the Olympic Opening Ceremony).

One award each went to:-
ITV, Channel 4, Five, and to "Weightwatchers Commercial Channel".

The GTC seal of approval went to a Sony Viewfinder for its technical excellence.

Holly Bantleman won the Mike Baldock award as camera operator and 3D stereographer for "Raise The Roof In Kenya", a charity in aid of children in Kenya.

Charles Lagus won the top award for 2013- the TiCA.
