After all the ballyhoo and pre-publicity the BBC Radio '90 years Celebration' three minutes apparently transmitted on all Radio channels was a cacophonous nonsense.........lots of muttering and incoherent voices terminating in the pips and a piano dirge. Good grief is that all the combined talent could come up with? It was entitled '2LO calling' but bore little resemblance to 2LO...they didn't even HAVE the GTS in the early days!
