Title: BBC facilities providers involvement in Olympics Post by Mikej on Jul 30th, 2012, 12:48pm Interesting article here about the source of the trucks/production etc. Nice to see at least one Ex-BBC person (Paul Mason ex-TC sports tech co-ord) being involved and speaking up knowledgeably. http://www.televisual.com/blog-detail/London-2012-the-broadcast-challenge_bid-317.html Mike Just found more here:- http://www.televisual.com/blog-detail/Broadcasting-the-Olympics-to-the-world_bid-369.html With picture of aforementioned PM (Mason that is not THE PM) |
Title: Re: BBC facilities providers involvement in Olympics Post by HMG on Jul 30th, 2012, 12:59pm And I used to be (and am still) so proud to have worked for the BBC. NOW? Lets leave it to the 1500 students (Unpaid I take it!). Glad to be out off it especially when I saw the coverage of the Cycling and Gymnastics (and no doubt many more cringe hours of Olympic coverage to come) >:( |
