Title: Tales of Television Centre
Post by Peter_Neill on Apr 7th, 2012, 12:39pm

There's a preview of this programme at the BFI on May 15th

http://www.bfi.org.uk/whatson/bfi_southbank/events/previews_in_conversation/t...

Pity not many of us will be able to be there as it's already fully booked - even before ticket sales are open to non-members.

It's in the smallest theatre - NFT3, while a film (which according to reports is not selling very well) is in NFT 1.

If you want to go, try lobbying the BFI to swap venues.

Latest information:-
The screening of "Tales of Television Centre" has been moved to the NFT's largest theatre, which holds 450. So, there are plenty of seats available (if you're quick).

Tickets are £5 each.

Reminders -
Date: 15th May - Time: 18.10 -
Place: National Film Theatre, the South Bank, NFT1 - The ticket office number is: 020 7928 3232

More information here.

Although the NFT web-site still claims the screening to be in NFT3 (and fully booked) the above information is more up-to-date.
However, it is best to confirm space availability.

I called in and got mine this morning with no problem. As posted, Tuesday shows are £5 but seats are unreserved.

"Ariel" has an article here.'

"....... it's bricks and mortar but it was a also a world within a world. Everything was under one roof. It was like a big family.'

It's not a beautiful building. Now it's dated and crusty round the edges but it has a charm coming from what has been made there.'
