Watching the recent programmes marking the death of Jimmy Saville, I was surprised that very few of the children writing in to "Jim'll Fix It" ever received a reply.
I thought that programmes such as "Blue Peter" went to some trouble and expense to make some sort of reply to its young viewers, and I'd like to know if it was the case that no acknowledgement was made to the children whose "Fix it" was not considered for use.
