Title: Ross Brand consequences
Post by davidfrance on Nov 23rd, 2008, 10:31am

I feel sure most readers of this column will also have seen the Saturday Telegraph (22 Nov) and the article by its former editor  Charles Moore starting a campaign to withold the licence fee in view of the decision to keep Ross in work.  There is also a strong call for the licence fee to be abolished as a result of the furore. Does anyone think this would NOT affect the Pension Fund?  If the licence fee goes you can certainly say goodbye to future stability...and possibly worse. Should we not be mounting a campaign to urge the Beeb to drop Ross altogether before this gets out of hand?
