Title: Anyone remamber an Ernie Elliot from 1959?

Someone on another newsgroup is trying to identify an "Ernie Elliot" who they believe worked for the BBC around 1959. Aparently Ernie was born around 1901 and was a pilot in WWI so he won't be alive today.
